SAMURAI PROJECT

9626 Joseph Campau St.

Hamtramck, MI 48212

Our Mission

The Samurai Project exists to serve humanity by not allowing economic and social circumstances dictate the degree of a young persons potential. Through martial arts training, we will teach children and young adults to seek the perfection of their character and to forge a dauntless spirit. United in this common goal we will fight for the young warrior’s right, not just to exist, but to become great beyond measure.

What makes us unique

We give at-risk kids not just a regular safe place to go from drugs, violence, gangs, promiscuity and teen pregnancy, but the tools, the strength and the power to live amidst the worst of pitfalls and rise up to become productive men and women of honor.

Children will receive the best physical and mental training available. Kudo (Classical Martial Arts) as a character development tool has been time tested over thousands of years. The relationship between the teacher, the senior student and the student is the oldest mentoring program in existence today!

Kids 17 and younger participate for FREE

Young Men & Women 18 to 23 participate for free in exchange for 3 hours per week volunteer time to the Kids Programs
